An imaginative and creative Architect, a discerning Owner, some concrete, bamboo, lead coated copper, stainless steel and bee's wax all are sure to make for a fun project. Not a quick project, but an interesting one still. Have you ever seen structural laminated veneer lumber (LVL's) used as a finish product exposed and at the edge of a counter? How about bamboo that seamlessly flows up the stairs, then up the wall and onto the counter?

Have you ever built a wood frame wall with studs that were cut on a CNC machine and resemble the ribs of a boat? Have you ever tried to put plaster on a wall with multiple compound curves? Have you ever seen an iridescent plaster wall? What do you think of a burnt industrial concrete floor with zinc divider strips for a family room floor? All of these components went into this project and more. And they all worked surprisingly well.
