CARPENTER PLUS

WHITE BUILDERS is seeking an experienced Carpenter capable of constructing and supervising high end residential projects from start to finish in the greater Boston area. Candidates must be professional, detail oriented, organized, efficient, and familiar with all the trades. Must be able to read plans and specs, deal with architects, clients and subcontractors as well as perform all carpentry tasks from frame to finish.

Ratio of tool work to paper work duties varies with projects. As an example on some projects the candidate would be required to act almost exclusively as a project superintendent including duties such as:

• Assist in foundation layout and laser grading to bench marks
• Layout for framing subcontractor
• Layout and supervision of mechanical/electrical trades
• Supervision of insulation/plaster and finsh operations.
• Maintain as-built drawings
• Meet with Architect and Owner
• Keep daily logs.

On smaller projects the candidate's duties may include most of the above to a lesser extent as well as:

• Lead White Builders carpenters to perform all rough framing
• Lead White Builders carpenters to perform all window installation and siding
• Lead White Builders carpenters to perform all finish carpentry and casework installation

Or any combination of all of the above.
